NMA recognition for Griffin Media Solutions

NMA recognition, national media association, griffin media, gildas waltonGriffin Media Solutions has been awarded recognition by the News Media Association (NMA), a body widely seen as the voice of national, regional and local news media organisations in the UK.

Created in 2014 from the merger of the Newspaper Publishers Association and the Newspaper Society, the NMA promotes the interests of news media publishers to Government, regulatory authorities, industry bodies and other organisations whose work affects the industry.

“The Agency Recognition Scheme involves credit checking of agencies and, if the credit-worthiness levels are acceptable, the NMA recommends to its national newspaper member publishers that they grant credit terms,” explains Ingrid Burren, financial controller at Griffin Media Solutions.

“This is the first time that we have applied for recognition from the NMA and meeting its strict criteria was relatively smooth due to the efficient processes we have implemented.”

Gildas Walton, chief executive of Griffin Media Solutions, comments:

“Recognition from the NMA highlights that our business continues to grow with strength and stability. Our consistent acquisition of new accounts is as important as client retention and the year ahead looks extremely exciting.”
