SAMUEL THOMPSETT JOINS GRIFFIN MEDIA TEAM

Samuel Thompsett has been offered the full-time position of accounts administrator after cruising through his six-month work placement at Griffin Media Solutions.

Kickstart is a government scheme that provides funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds. Explaining her decision to get involved in the scheme, Ingrid Burren, financial director of Griffin Media Solutions comments:

“My awareness of the scheme came at a time when we realised we needed more support at an administrative level. The scheme was relatively straightforward to navigate and made commercial sense to us. The icing on the cake was that Samuel proved to be such an asset.

“As the months progressed we offered Samuel more responsibility and he’s developed into an integral member of our close knit team. We were delighted to offer him a full-time position after the scheme ended.”

As administrative assistant, Samuel is responsible for supporting the rest of the team. But he’s already taken on much more demanding tasks and looks set to have an extremely promising future:

“The Kickstart scheme has been a tremendous opportunity for me to develop my interpersonal skills and work etiquette,” says Samuel. “The friendliness, professionalism and warm welcome at Griffin Media Solutions was a great help and I’ve quickly integrated into the team.”
